How to Use the 14 Panel Saliva Drug Test:

Instructions To Use 14 Panel Drug Test:

    1. Prep: Ensure the device and sample are at room temperature (60-86°F). Avoid eating, drinking, or smoking for at least 10 minutes prior to testing.
    2. Use the included swab to collect saliva by gently swiping inside the mouth (cheeks, gums, and tongue) until the saturation indicator shows a sufficient sample has been gathered.
    3. Insert the swab securely into the test device and ensure it is locked in place.

Important notice!

  1. SHAKE THE TEST GENTLY and make sure the saliva sample distributes evenly on the bottom. Keep the device upright and allow the test to run for 10 minutes (2–3 minutes for alcohol results).
  2. Set the timer for 10 minutes.
  3. Interpret the results. Dispose of the device as biohazard waste after use or send it to a lab for confirmation in the case of presumptive positives.

How Interpret DOA Test Strip Results?

POSITIVE: Only one colored band appears, in the control region (C). No colored band appears in the
test region (T) for the drug in question. A positive result indicates that the drug concentration exceeds the
detectable level.
NEGATIVE: Two colored bands appear on the membrane. One band appears in the control region (C)
and another band appears in the test region (T) for the drug in question. A negative result indicates that
the drug concentration is below the detectable level.
INVALID: Control band fails to appear. Results from any test which has not produced a control band (C)

NOTE:
1. The intensity of color in the test region (T) may vary depending on the concentration of analytes
present in the specimen. Therefore, any shade of color in the test region (T) should be considered
negative. Please note that this is a qualitative test only, and cannot determine the concentration of
analytes in the specimen.
2. Insufficient specimen volume, incorrect operating procedure or expired tests are the most likely
reasons for control band failure.

How Interpret ALC (Alcohol) Test Strip Results?

NOTE: No LINES appear on the Alcohol Test Strip!

POSITIVE: The One Step Saliva Alcohol Test will produce a color change in the presence of saliva alcohol.
The color will range from light blue color at 0.02% relative blood alcohol concentration to a dark blue color near 0.30% relative blood alcohol concentration. Color pads are provided within this range to allow an approximation of relative blood alcohol concentration. The test may produce colors that appear to be between adjacent color pads.

NOTE: The One Step Saliva Alcohol Test is very sensitive to the presence of alcohol. A blue color that is lighter than the 0.02% color pad should be interpreted as being positive to the presence of alcohol in saliva but less than 0.02% relative blood alcohol.

NEGATIVE: When the One Step Saliva Alcohol Test shows no color change this should be interpreted as a negative result indicating that alcohol has not been detected.

INVALID: If the color pad has a blue color before applying saliva sample, do not use the test.

Alcohol detection is indicated by a color change on the reaction pad, with varying colors depicting different concentration levels.
